Dan is Pete Lombardo’s son and vice president of the agency. He is a 2006 graduate of Wachusett Regional High School and a 2010 graduate of Westfield State University. He has over ten years of experience as a licensed property and casualty producer. Dan began his career working for Liberty Mutual Insurance in 2010 as a captive agent. In August of 2014, he left Liberty and joined the PJ Lombardo Insurance Agency as an independent agent.

Dan is building a book of business consisting of both personal and commercial lines clients. He also currently resides in Holden.

Get to know Dan a little bit better:

Who has influenced you most when it comes to how you approach your work?

Without a doubt, the most influential person in my work and personal life has been my father, Pete Lombardo. With over 40 years in the insurance industry, he has taught me by example that if you work hard and stay focused on your goals that anything is possible.

What’s a work-related accomplishment that you’re really proud of?

I am really proud of my transition from working as a “captive” insurance agent at Liberty Mutual, meaning that I could only write insurance with one company, to becoming an “independent” insurance agent (and vice president) at PJ Lombardo Insurance Agency. It’s exciting to be able to offer several different company quotes with competitive pricing options to my clients. They never need to look elsewhere to “shop” their policies around. My team and I are always happy to do that for them!

Just for fun… What’s one item you want to own that you don’t?

I would love to own a boat so that I can go ocean fishing any time I want!
