As the owner of the agency and a Certified Insurance Counselor, Pete has been helping clients purchase their property and casualty policies for over 40 years. Pete has both a BS and MBA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. His ability to understand his client’s personal and business needs makes him very valuable to his clients. In addition to running his own insurance agency, Pete participates in the following community groups:

Get to know Pete a little bit better:

What do you like best about what you do?

My favorite part of what I do in my business involves the relationships that I’ve been fortunate to build over the years. Between networking and social groups, employees, and clients, I have met some lifelong friends as well as golf buddies/partners. It’s rewarding to be able to build relationships that are based on mutual respect and trust.

What work-related accomplishment are you most proud of?

After being in the insurance industry for 24 years, I decided to start my own agency in 2004. Taking a huge leap of faith, I rented office space and forged out on my own. I hired my first employee a year later, who is still with me. My son joined us six years ago and we have hired two more employees who round out our team. I am proud of the way we all work together with a common work objective of helping our insureds protect their assets while having fun in a relaxed, family-oriented environment.

Just for fun… What do you like to do for fun?

I’m not a person who can sit still. In the warm weather, you can usually find me on the golf course. In the winter, I enjoy skiing, and all year long, I am a diligent gym rat. I also recently picked up my guitar after many years and have been finding a lot of enjoyment playing music.
