Ryan has been with the agency since August of 2019 in the position of commercial lines account executive. He brings with him 12 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience. As a long time local resident, he graduated from Wachusett High School in 1995 and Worcester State University in 1999. He currently resides in Rutland.

Get to know Ryan a little better:

Why is it that you have kept your roots in the Wachusett area your whole life?

I was raised by wonderful parents who sacrificed a lot for me and my brother over the years. I did not move away from the area so that I could stay close to them as they age. To me, home is not a place or a zipcode. Home is a state of mind. Wherever my family is, that is where home is to me. It just happens to be in the Wachusett area.

What’s one thing that surprised you about working at PJ Lombardo Insurance Agency?

When I first interviewed for the position, I had a one-on-one interview with Pete. I didn’t meet any of the other team members until after I had accepted the job. It wasn’t until I had been working at the agency for a few months that I realized how much of a family the agency is. That can be good but can also pose certain challenges at times as well. Any person that is a part of a family will understand that. But, like any family, we all care about one another and have each other’s backs. I feel like our clients also become part of our extended family as well. It’s a good feeling.

Just for fun… What is something that makes you smile?

Don’t tell my landlord (who doesn’t allow pets), but I have a cat that is an absolute bundle of love. He was in a bad home situation when I rescued him. He brings so much joy into my life every day. I feel that we were brought together for a reason and that he rescued me just as much as I rescued him.
