Tina brings over 35 years of administrative and customer service experience to her position as office manager at PJ Lombardo Insurance Agency. She began her insurance career in 2005 and has been a licensed property and casualty producer since 2009. She is also a licensed notary public and oversees customer service at the agency. She is well qualified to help clients with both personal and commercial insurance. She resides with her family in Holden.

Get to know Tina a little bit better:

Are you a dog person or a cat person (or neither)?

I am most definitely a dog person. I grew up with dogs in our home and have had my own dog, Lilly, for almost 14 years. Over the past year, she has started to decline physically and mentally, which is heartbreaking to watch. She has been my loyal constant companion and coming to work with me in the office for the last five years. She enjoys sleeping in her bed next to my desk and taking periodic walks around the yard. You could say that she’s the sixth employee of PJ Lombardo Insurance Agency; not the most productive employee, but definitely the cutest!

What is your most favorite and least favorite part of your job?

I really enjoy creating relationships with our clients and helping them obtain the best insurance coverage for the most competitive price. I want them to know that I am on their side. I work for them, not the insurance companies. If they are not happy for any reason, I want them to feel comfortable talking to me about it. If there is a way that I can help them, I will do my very best. Which leads me to my least favorite part! Having clients that see a rise in their premium or have a problem with their insurance company and immediately start shopping for insurance elsewhere. We all hope that our clients will give us the opportunity to let us work with them before they “jump ship” on us! If there is a way for us to remedy a situation or get them into a better financial situation, we will certainly make it happen. We work hard to earn and maintain the trust that our clients have placed in us.

Just for fun, do you have a favorite quote?

I really like a quote by Henry Ford and actually have it posted next to my desk as a daily reminder. “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t–you’re right!” One of the primary keys to getting what you want out of life is believing that you can have it. Sure, hard work and determination are also important, but it all starts with self-confidence and believing in yourself.
